Emily will explain the potential health benefits and potential harmful effects of sugar and substitutes to the body, how to minimize the amount of sugar you eat on a daily basis, and share tips on how to reduce your sweet cravings. Cost is $10 bringing your own lunch, or $15 with lunch from local’84 included.

FFC will have cheering stations during the 2018 Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Stop by anytime to join us in cheering on members, or sign up as a volunteer captain to help setup and hang out with us all morning! Plus, we’ll also have an Athlete’s Village pre-and-post-marathon set up at our FFC South Loop location!
FFC Cheering Station #1 – near Division and LaSalle, in front of FFC Old Town (1235 N. LaSalle). The station will be staffed from 7:15am – 9:30am. We will need volunteers to set up the station at 7:00am. This will be our primary cheering station for FFC charity partner TEAM BRIGHT PINK.
FFC Cheering Station #2 – near Waveland and Inner Lakeshore Drive, just down the street from FFC East Lakeview (3657 N. Pine Grove). The station will be staffed from 7:30am – 11am. We will need volunteers to set up the station at 7:00am. This will be our primary cheering station for FFC charity partner TEAM TO END AIDS (T2).
FFC Cheering Station #3 – near Clinton and Monroe, just down the street from FFC West Loop (10 S. Clinton). This station will be staffed from 8:30am-12noon. We will need volunteers to set up the station at 8:00am. This will be our primary cheering station for FFC charity partner DARE2TRI.
