Congratulations to FFC Oak Park’s December Member of the Month, Joanne Fitzgerald! We asked Joanne a few questions about her experience, and here’s what she had to share.

What does membership at FFC mean to you?

It means being healthy and active. I recently had a stroke and it is helping get to a new normal.

When at FFC, you will find me doing…

At FFC you will find me usually in the afternoon, but I am known to workout all different days and times. Mostly I work out with Brian Cuellar, personal trainer. I have set some goals and am working to achieve them with the help of Brian and Amy Silver, the FFC dietician.

I work out to…

I work out to better myself. I have been trying to lose weight and I have a goal, which I will soon achieve. Working out is fun (well, most of the time). FFC has been a great place to do it all and is close to home.
