Swim Laps, Relax or Play – FFC Pools Have It All
Looking for a Chicago gym with a pool? FFC has you covered with indoor and outdoor pools designed for fitness, fun, and recovery. Swimming is a low-impact, full-body workout that’s perfect for all ages and fitness levels.
Whether you’re swimming laps, joining an aqua fitness class, relaxing in the whirlpool, or splashing around with your kids, there’s something for everyone in our aquatics program.
- Indoor Pools: Eight FFC locations feature indoor pools: East Lakeview, Elmhurst, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Oak Park, Park Ridge, Union Station, and West Loop. Lap lane reservations are required and can be made through the FFC+ app.
- Outdoor Pools: In the summer, enjoy rooftop views and sunshine at our outdoor pools in Elmhurst, Park Ridge, and West Loop. For current hours, please visit the club’s page.
- Pool Temperatures: Indoor and outdoor pools are kept at a comfortable 82°F, and whirlpools are heated to 105°F for optimal recovery.

Chicago Endurance Training and Triathlon Swim Classes at FFC Union Station
In partnership with Chicago Triathlon Club, Grit Endurance, these expert-led swim sessions are designed for triathletes and swimmers eager to refine their technique and efficiency. Each week, we work on specific foundational aspects of the swim stroke, and we incorporate fun and creative sets to help you improve. These indoor swim technique classes will help you feel confident and in control in the water!
