TRX Bands hanging from rack

The TRX Suspension Trainer is one of the most versatile tools in the gym with progressions (and regressions) easily accessible by adjusting body position. At this demo, you will learn the basics that are missing from your routine. We’ll also try some challenging progressions to test our strength! Join us on the following days to get started:

  • Wednesday, January 3 at 6:00 PM
  • Thursday, January 4 at 12:00 PM
  • Friday, January at 6:00 AM

Learning technical boxing skills with combat functional strength training is beneficial for everyone! This class is ideal for members looking to have fun, learn some new skills, and burn a ton of calories. Join us on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM! All participants will need to purchase 16oz. boxing gloves and hand wraps.

Faction classes are HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workouts in a group setting; for one hour we move through movements focused on strength, core, functionality, and metabolic conditioning. Wednesday night’s class at 7:00 PM is a great way to get over the hump and cruise on to finish your week.

A women in a self defense training session

Arwaa is certified in CFMA (Chinese Filipino Martial Arts) which has a broad scope of
mixed martial arts (boxing, jiu-jitsu, muy thai) and self-defense. This class will focus on the basics of blocking, how to throw the most commonly used punches, and how to create space between you and any potential threat. Each 1-hour class will not only develop a necessary skill but will also be an excellent calorie-burning activity. The cost is $128 for 4 classes each month.

Things to achieve include:

  • Block 1- Catch
  • 1,2 combinations (jab, cross)
  • Kick (front leg)
  • Knee (front leg)
  • Start target practice
  • How to fall (clap out)

Participants will need to purchase Target Boxing Pad and MMA Boxing Gloves for the class. No experience is necessary. Contact Arwaa at ataiyab@ffc.com for more info.
