Welcome new staff to FFC!

Please welcome Ian Miller, our new Senior Pickleball Pro, bringing experience and fresh energy to one of the club’s fastest-growing programs. Ian is a certified PPR, RPO, and DUPR Coach with over a decade of playing and teaching experience, plus a background as a top-ranked tennis and squash player.

Known for his relaxed, personalized coaching style, Ian works with all skill levels—from first-timers to competitive players. He now leads new coaching opportunities including Tuesday and Thursday morning group sessions (Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner), private lessons, and event coaching.

Pickleball paddles and balls

Our Group Pickleball Instruction series is designed to help players make real progress through structured, intentional coaching in a small-group setting.

  • 9:00–10:00 AM | Advanced Drills & Skills
    – For 4.0+ players ready to sharpen their competitive edge with high-intensity drills focused on court positioning, point control, and dominating the NVZ. Small group: 3–4 players. $40 per player.
  • 10:00–11:00 AM | Intermediate Instruction & Play
    – For 3.0–4.0 players looking to improve consistency, shot selection, and match confidence. Small group: 3–6 players. $50 per player.
  • 11:00 AM–12:00 PM | Beginner Intro & Play
    – Perfect for new players learning the rules, strokes, and strategy while building confidence to join open play. Small group: 3–6 players. $50 per player.

Private instruction gives you direct, personalized coaching built entirely around your game. Each session focuses on improving fundamentals, sharpening strategy, and addressing the areas holding you back so you can see results faster. Whether you’re new to pickleball or looking to elevate your competitive play, private coaching provides the clarity, precision, and confidence to improve your game. Sessions are open to all levels and age groups, with 1–3 players per session at $90.

Kick off Summer 2026 with FFC on the West Loop pool deck for an unforgettable night of energy, music, and community! Join us on Friday, May 29, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM for a high-energy Werq vs. Zumba dance-off led by Dom and Kaley, where you’ll learn the moves, pick your side, and bring the energy as the sun sets over the city.

After the dance-off, keep the night going with a poolside social hour featuring food, drinks, and giveaways. Expect great music, a vibrant crowd, and the ultimate start to summer in Chicago!
