1. Where is the Club located?

The Club is located at 10 South Clinton, at the intersection of Madison and Clinton, featuring a 3-story glass enclosed atrium entry. The Ogilvie Northwestern Metra Transportation Center is diagonally across the street from the new FFC at street level.

2. When will the Club open?

The fully renovated FFC West Loop is now open!

3. What hours is the Club open?

On weekdays the Club is open on the following 24 hour basis: 4:30am Mondays through 9:30pm Fridays. The Club is open Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Most of our locations are open 365 days a year.

4. What is the size of the facility?

It’s big. 52,000 square feet with high ceilings including panoramic windows from all coed areas of the Club, indoor lap pool, an outdoor pool and beverage bar, a full-service Spa, several group exercise studios, and a Protein Bar Cafe.

5. Where is the best place to park?

Two hours of free parking is available to members in the 1,100 space in-building parking garage. The Presidential Towers parking garage entrance is on Jefferson Street, one block west of Clinton. A third hour of Club parking is available for only $5.25.

6. What amenities are in the locker rooms?

The men’s and women’s locker rooms include complimentary full-height Shaker Cherry wood daily changing lockers, towel service, personal hair dryers, and individual glass enclosed showers. Convenient rental storage lockers (15” wide by 18” deep by 16” high) are also available on a first come first serve basis. These can be reserved online here ffc.com/store. Optional daily laundry service of personal workout wear is also available with a rental storage locker.

7. What type of Group Fitness Classes will the Club offer?

FFC offers a wide variety of group fitness classes for all ages and levels that combine cardiovascular training with strength training, stretching, core building, and sports driven functionality. Our classes are taught only by Certified Professionals. The Club features four studios: the FFC Spin Theatre; a fully equipped Pilates studio; a Mind-Body studio including hot yoga; and a Group Fitness Studio featuring the FFC innovative signature classes. Classes held in the custom designed studios and six-lane Junior Olympic swimming pool will include Vinyasa, Hatha and Hot Yoga, Cardio Dance Mix, FitKick, FitFlex, FitCore, Hydro-Fit, Chisel, Zumba®, Masters Swim, Spinning, Pilates, and Muscle Strength Conditioning to name just a few. 9. How long has FFC been around?

Since 1984. The company was founded by Gale Landers, the sole owner of the parent company.

10. What does it cost to get started?

11. What is a “Couple” membership?

A Couple Membership is defined as 2 people who share a common household either through marriage or as unmarried persons, 18 years or older who are living together as each other’s sole domestic partner, and jointly share financial responsibilities.

12. What is a “Family” membership?

A Family Membership is at least three people from the same immediate family that can provide proof of cohabitation and that includes a single parent or married or engaged couple with dependants between the ages of 16 and 21 all residing at the same address.

13. Does the Club have childcare?

Yes! We offer a large, comprehensive Kids Club that you will love. It’s staffed with certified specialists and designed for healthy, active, and fun activities for kids from 3 months and older for up to two hours per day. Amenities include a play area, a safe kid-friendly Internet center, an entertainment center, arts and crafts, and a separate tots area. Kids will love it! Our Club computer check-in/check-out system provides security. You can even monitor your child during your workouts. Each piece of cardio equipment has LCD TV screens installed with our exclusive closed circuit Kids Club channel. Initial Kids Club hours will be:
Mon – Fri 8:00am to 1:00pm, 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Sat and Sun 8:00am to 1:00pm

14. Can I join online if I’m a Presidential Towers Resident?

15. Where can I go to join the Club in person?

We have two membership information centers to serve you!
First, we have a kiosk inside the Ogilvie-Northwestern Transportation Center on the second level in the southeast corner, across from the Citibank ATMs and next to the Dakota Watch Company. We’re staffed here from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday.
Second, you can visit the Club at 10 S Clinton, at the corner of Madison and Clinton. We’re staffed here from 10:00am – 7:00pm Monday – Friday, and 10:00am – 5:00pm Saturday – Sunday.
You can join in person at both of the these locations.

16. When do I begin paying monthly dues?

Recurring monthly dues will begin when you join the Club.

17. Will there be extra costs in the Club after the monthly dues?
View information

Your membership comes with a host of free amenities you won’t receive at most other clubs including free towels, full size daily changing lockers, a comprehensive new member fitness consultation, group fitness classes, our exclusive ActivTrax® workouts, and educational seminars. Additional fees are required for select premium services such as personal training, spa, tanning, and certain short term specialty programs.

18. Does the Club have weight loss programs?

Great ones. Our professionally certified staff has designed hundreds of customized weight loss programs that combine the proper balance of nutrition and exercise based on each individual’s needs and requirements. 19. Will I be able to bring guests?

Absolutely. You can bring in a guest for a full day for $20 with proper photo id.

20. What do I pay today to join?

Your one-time enrollment fee and last month of dues in advance!

21. How long is the membership agreement?

Unlike most clubs that are between one and three years, our membership is month-to-month. In other words, it lasts as long as you want to be a member.

22. What can you tell me about the Cafe?

It is a healthy lifestyle Protein Bar® featuring high-protein blended drinks, wholesome bowls, fresh-made wraps, chilis and signature Bar-ritos. All menu items are high in protein and fiber, and low in fat and sugar.

23. What can you tell me about the swimming pools?

There are two: an indoor, six lane, 75 foot lap pool with adjacent whirlpool; and an outdoor recreation pool with a multi-tiered sundeck complete with lounge chairs and our Play Bar featuring better-for-you beverages like Coconut Water Mojitos.

24. Will children be allowed in either pool area?

Children are allowed in the indoor pool only during family hours, which will be 1-5 on Saturdays and Sundays. Also, one lane will be set aside Monday-Friday from 8:00am -11:00am for children to use. We will also be hosting Infant Safety Rescue courses during those times. There are no children allowed in the outdoor pool.
