May is here, and now we begin to plan outdoor summer activities. Along with running, biking by the lake, and outdoor sports, there are many weekend festivals, air shows, and beaches to enjoy during Chicago’s short summer. Finding the right mix of indoor and outdoor fitness time can be tricky.
We all know that one of the most common reasons for our lack of progress is not varying our workout. Summer is a great time to mix it up! Shorter, high intensity workouts can minimize your time at FFC Union Station while maximizing your results. Our group exercise classes are a great alternative during the summer months. FFC offers a variety of muscle strength, cardio, and mind-body classes that will get you in and out of the Club in under an hour. So you don’t have to break up with us this summer.

Year of Wellness Winner April 29, 2013
We continue to follow the health and fitness journey of our Year of Wellness winner Quinetta Taylor. Welcome Baby Thomas! April 29, 2013
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Beth and the Crysdale family on welcoming their newest addition, baby Thomas. Throughout her pregnancy, Beth received regular prenatal massage sessions to increase circulation and experience relief from the mental and physical stress of the workday. Regular prenatal massage benefits are specific to each individual and sessions are designed to accommodate mommy’s ever changing body as it prepares for delivery. We would like thank the Crysdale family for allowing FFC Union Station Spa to be a part of the preparation for baby Thomas’ arrival and hope mom and baby are healthy, happy and well. Join Us For A Fun Run! April 29, 2013
Looking to join a fun running group? Then FFC is your Chicago Health Club destination. Join us on Tuesday nights at 6:00pm beginning May 7 for a complimentary “Fun Run” hosted by TriMonster® and FFC. Each Tuesday there will be a “Fun Run” at a designated FFC Club. Choose to run three miles or five miles. All levels are welcome. The first Tuesday of each month is open to Non-Members and guests. Run a Half or Full Marathon April 29, 2013
June 10 – October 13. $299 (full program) for Members and $575 (full program) for Non-Members. Training for the Chicago Marathon or Chicago Half Marathon? Whether you’re a first timer or a veteran marathoner come join us! You must be able to run one mile without stopping to participate in the program.
