Testimonials
Staying Engaged April 1, 2011
Tom – FFC Union Station
My membership at FFC means that I don’t have any excuses to not reach my fitness goals. FFC has many convenient locations and plenty of equipment so I can change up my workout routine and stay engaged. I have re-prioritized going to the gym and am on my way to reaching my weight-loss goal for my upcoming wedding. While I used to see going to the gym as a chore, I now look forward to going to FFC every day.
A REWARDING EXPERIENCE March 21, 2011
Kay – FFC Union Station
I have thoroughly enjoyed my membership at FFC. Every time I go, I am greeted with a warm welcome. All of the employees are friendly and willing to help. My most rewarding experience has been working with my trainer, Martin. Martin is focused on helping me achieve my goals, no matter how many times I get off track. I feel great after our workouts. Martin is more than a trainer, he is a friend. For these reasons and many more, I truly value my membership at FFC.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE March 21, 2011
Gail – FFC Gold Coast
FFC is a classy community health club where members are welcomed and receive outstanding service by management and staff. Questions get answered; if you have a problem, they solve it and everything you need is at your fingertips. Thanks to Larry and his team – each visit feels like a Welcome Home!
ACCEPTING CHALLENGES March 21, 2011
Kirk – FFC East Lakeview
Membership means accepting challenges and succeeding. In January, I was feeling bloated and was unhappy with most of the pictures that came back from friends who were at my New Year’s Eve party. I decided I needed to make some serious dietary changes, and boost my cardio routines. At the same time, my trainer, Jason Hammers, started talking to me about the “Lose to Win” challenge. I enrolled and told him, “I am going to win.” I lost 22 lbs in 6 weeks, and I look and feel great! FFC challenges its members and if the members are willing to accept the challenge, they will see noticeable results. I’m very happy to be a member.
FRIENDLINESS March 21, 2011
Maria – FFC Lincoln Park
Joining FFC has been more than joining just a gym. I feel like I am a member of a group that values wellness beyond just reaching physical goals, and approaches healthy lifestyle maintenance from a holistic perspective. It has given me a sense of community that has assisted in making my transition to a new city so much easier, in addition to making my health a priority on my daily to-do list. Whether I come in at 5am or 7pm, there is always a warm friendly person there that truly wants to know how I am doing – and THAT’S the true definition of membership in my book.
ESTABLISHING GOALS March 21, 2011
Mike – FFC Oak Park
Until recently, I had not taken much advantage of my membership. But in January, I signed up for the “Lose to Win” challenge and also started working with a personal trainer – Laura Andrews. Laura and I established goals which included weight loss, reduction in body fat percentage, better nutrition, cardiac health, and general fitness. I can now say that by establishing goals and creating a healthier and more fitness-oriented routine, I take full advantage of what FFC has to offer. I highly value my membership, and my long term goal is to be able to play golf into my 80s, while walking the course and carrying my clubs.
FEELING COMFORTABLE March 21, 2011
Jennifer – FFC Old Town
To me, being a member at FFC means being part of a group made up of individuals with similar goals. And, because of this, it’s always easy to find people you can work out with to achieve your personal goals. Membership means feeling comfortable with who you are when you are among fellow members.
A SENSE OF BELONGING March 21, 2011
Paul – FFC Halsted St
My FFC Membership means a sense of belonging. It means that I’m not just another ID card-swipe at the front door, but rather, part of a community. Everyone from the Smoothie Bar operator to my Personal Trainer greets me, knows my name and knows me. It means that my workout isn’t canned, but customized to motivate me so I can reach my personal goals. It’s a support system that has helped me get into the best physical shape of my life!
ENCOURAGEMENT March 21, 2011
Ryan – FFC Lincoln Park
My FFC membership allows me to access not only to a clean and spacious workout facility with great city views, but to a fitness community that helps and encourages me to achieve my goals. The variety of support options from group sessions to one-on-one attention (as well as being left alone when I want) have provided me with the tools I need for success. My membership isn’t one-size-fits-all – it’s an affordable, customizable, and friendly fitness experience.
OPTIONS March 21, 2011
Michiko – FFC Oak Park
Having a membership at FFC means having options. I can do something different every day and try new things, like Pilates or Rock Climbing. It also means I have access to the best personal trainers. I actively enjoy my time at the Club, and I consider my membership a real treat.
