October, 2011 – For the 4th consecutive year, FFC participated in the Clubs for a Cure program, to benefit ALS research and Augie’s Quest. Augie Nieto, founder of Life Fitness, was diagnosed with ALS in 2005. Since then, he has committed his life to finding a cure for this degenerative nerve disease. To date, Augie’s Quest has raised over $30 million to fund research and laboratory time. To date, FFC has raised over $100,000 for this amazing cause. Sweatin’ for a Cure was a Super Group Fitness Class, held at our Union Station location, that helped raise over $5,000 for Clubs for a Cure. Learn more at augiesquest.com.
