May’s Message from General Manager Kathleen Weber April 27, 2012

To learn he defines as our minds – always seeking knowledge to improve every facet of our lives.

To leave a legacy – living each day with a purpose so that when we leave this world we made it better than it was when we arrived.

How do you measure yourself in these quadrants? All that falls into the quadrant of “to live” can be accomplished at the Club with our staff. We are here to help.

Memorial Day Hours April 27, 2012

In observance of the Memorial Day Holiday, we will be open from 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday, May 28. We will reopen at 4:30am on Tuesday, May 29. Please also check the Group Fitness Schedule for the holiday class times.

Spotlight: Ballet Sculpt April 27, 2012

Wednesdays at 7:00am. Train hard with this ballet-inspired class. It will sculpt, strengthen and elongate all of your major muscle groups, and employs a multitude of training tools/techniques such as the ballet barre, light weights, and body bars. Welcome Candy and Brat April 27, 2012

Please welcome Instructor Candy Morales, teaching the new 20-20-20 class on Tuesdays at 7:00am – 8:00am. She started working out in 1993 and dropped over 75lbs. Candy is certified with ACE and AFAA in group Fitness and Personal Training. She got her start in 1999 teaching for some of Chicago’s leading health clubs and gyms. Candy says, “I look forward to meeting new friends at FFC and working to help everyone reach beyond and dig deeper to attain their goals!” Brat currently teaches FitCore on Wednesdays at 5:45pm and ZUMBA right after that at 6:15pm. Brat is a New York City Native representing the islands of Nevis and Grenada. A body movement enthusiast, she has studied dance most of her life, from ballet, jazz, and tap, to Bhyrata Natyam, Jamaican Dancehall, and Capoeira, just to name a few. Since graduating from Columbia College Chicago with her B.A. in Dance, she currently dances with Red Clay Dance Company. She competes internationally and holds the 2009 Midwest Dancehall Queen title!
