February’s Message from General Manager Lisa Gregorich January 27, 2012

“The greatest wealth is health.”  ~ Virgil. How true that is.  It is wonderful to see that so many of you have dedicated 2012 to your health, and making the most of it at FFC.  A lot of things are important in our lives.  Family, friends, school, our jobs, but we cannot make the best of these precious things if we do not have our health.  

I have dedicated myself to doing the most that I can for my health this year, too.  What have I changed?  Well, first of all, I gave up my love of chocolate.  It was “weighing” me down, literally.  I also started training twice a week. It’s helping me be accountable for my workout and gives me new ideas for when I worked out on my own.  Last, but not least, I am getting my yearly physical.  I realize now how important it is to make sure you just don’t “look” healthy, but you are healthy from the inside out.  This is the year I am going to put myself first, which I have never done.  

Remember, even if coming to the Club on a regular basis gets tough, and you don’t think you can do it; you have to believe in yourself and work past your doubts.  Fitness commitments take mental strength, almost as much as they take physical strength.   It can be done, and I see more and more determination throughout the club every day.

My Sweaty Valentine – Partner Yoga! January 27, 2012

Monday, February 13 at 6:30am and 7:30pm. This class will replace all regularly scheduled Yoga classes this day only. Complimentary.
