A New Year’s Message from General Manager Jeff Long December 27, 2011

The New Year always brings reflection and re-evaluation (I’ll refrain from using the other “R” word!).

What was the best part of 2011 for you? For me, it was not just one thing. At the Club, I think the best part was watching so many people change their lives for the better. And then, being able to replace so many pieces of equipment to get ready for more people to make a change in 2012. Personally, I ended 2011 on a high note, taking my son on a vacation to Jamaica right before the holidays!

What is going to be the best part about 2012? The beginning of the year is a great time to re-evaluate your workout routine. If you are like me, every once and a while I get in a rut with mine, and hit a plateau. Try a new cardio machine, take the Lose to Win challenge, investigate a new Group Fitness Class or adjust your weights routine to help jump-start your results in 2012. If you need some ideas, help or guidance, stop by the fitness desk and speak to one of our new personal trainers. I am going to do the same.

I wish you and yours a very happy and healthy New Year!
