Congratulations to Anne McEnroe, FFC West Loop’s October Member of the Month! We asked Anne about her experience at FFC, and here’s what she had to share:
What does membership at FFC mean to you?
FFC membership provides me with a safe, clean environment to work out in because maintaining a healthy lifestyle and improving my fitness level are both super important to me. FFC has great resources that motivate and assist me with staying disciplined when it comes to working out.
When at FFC you will find me…
Any number of places: I might be in the Pilates room, working on cat walkover with my trainer David, who counsels me through going upside down (I much prefer being right side up!). I might also be in a one-on-one training session or group fitness class (usually yoga, Modern Mat or Motiv8). Many days, the best spot in the gym for me is the steam room, which I love sitting in after back-to-back-to-back classes, as a way to further decompress and detoxify.
I work out to…
To improve my overall health and well-being. I think it’s important to mix up my workout routine as I continuously strive to improve my strength, flexibility and fitness level and to squeeze everything I can out of my workout. I enjoy being challenged and pushed to the next level, whether it be by David, during our training sessions, or by other trainers (Kim and Jay) that provide me with sideline support (and occasional friendly harassment!).
