Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
FFC Gold Coast is home to Phase II and Phase III cardiovascular fitness program. This outpatient program is a follow up to the Phase I rehab that began while in the hospital. Individuals who have had a heart attack, angioplasty, heart surgery or a heart transplant, or who have coronary artery disease or cardiomyopathy are eligible to participate in cardiac rehabilitation. This program is also open to individuals who are at risk for developing coronary artery disease and those with peripheral vascular disease. You need not have been a patient at Northwestern Memorial to join our outpatient program. Entrance requirements include an orientation session, a stress test and a referral by a physician. Your physician will decide when you may start cardiac rehabilitation and will receive periodic reports about your progress. For more information, call 312.926.7883.
