The Good Life Race

Winter running - Young woman running outdoors on a cold winter day

Previously known as The Race That’s Good for Life, this 5k starts and finishes April 12 at Oak Park River Forest High School. Race proceeds benefit the Collaboration of Early Childhood, an organization that fosters the advancement of high quality preschool for all children in the Oak Park/River Forest area.

This unique race offers a separate men’s and women’s 5K run/walk, a junior jog and a youth mile. The Good Life Race has been chosen for the second consecutive year as a Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) Runner’s Choice Circuit Race. It’s organized by the Oak Park Running Club (OPRC), which FFC Oak Park has been sponsoring for years.
