February’s Message from General Manager Larry Duncan January 27, 2012
February is always an interesting month for a Club. In January, the Club is always busy, and it’s so invigorating to see all the new faces intermixed with our regular, die-hard Club-goers. The beginning of February starts off just like January ended – busy! Then, usually, right around Valentine’s Day, we start to see a fall-off in attendance and activity.
This year, at FFC Gold Coast, let’s make a pact, right now, to NOT let that happen! As Vince Lombardi said, “Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit.” As Larry Duncan says, “Don’t give up. Don’t let the events of your everyday life distract you from what’s most important – your health and fitness! Stay focused and keep it simple.” And, don’t forget to pay attention to the RESULTS of exercise: Do you feel better? Do you have more energy? Are you more attentive? All of those should be answered, “Yes!” and should motivate you to push through everything else to walk through our doors on a regular basis.
My teams, and I, are ALWAYS here to ensure you have success. Please let us know if there is something we can help with. Here’s to February being January!
