Show the Ropes January 27, 2012

Beginner Bootcamp begins February 27. Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00am. 4 week program is $215/twice a week and $120/once a week. Whip into Shape January 27, 2012

Intermediate Bootcamp begins February 27. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00am. 4 week program is $215/twice a week and $120/once a week. Take your workouts to the next level, build upon your Show the Ropes training and push your limits in this group training program. This session will challenge your muscular and cardiovascular system utilizing TRX® Suspension Training, kettlebells, medicine balls, and calisthenics. Master Your Skills January 27, 2012

Advanced Bootcamp begins the week of February 27. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00pm. 4 week program is $215/twice a week and $120/once a week. Looking to achieve your maximum fitness potential? Designed as the most advanced of our bootcamp series, these sessions will test everything you learned in Show the Ropes and Whip into Shape. These high intensity workouts will include anaerobic cardiovascular exercises such as sprinting, plyometrics, and Olympic training routines. Indoor Track Speedwork Training Program starts Thursday, February 9 at FFC Gold Coast at 6:00pm. $140/members and $240/non-members. Spring Endurance Running Program begins February 6. A New Year’s Message from General Manager John O’Connor December 27, 2011

Resolution. Oh no. The dreaded ‘R’ word. Wikipedia defines it as “A commitment that an individual makes to one or more lasting personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit.” Many of us make them. Some of us don’t. Some of us keep them. Many of us don’t. Either way we can’t help but think about them each time the calendar turns over to the start of a new year. Whatever column you fall in above, rest assured FFC is here to help.

First, let me wish each of you a very happy New Year. It’s hard to believe that 2012 is actually here. Sounds more like a science fiction novel than our current year but the one constant in all our lives is the marching of time.

Second, 2011 brought many good improvements to FFC East Lakeview and 2012 promises to bring more.

Third, I am very grateful that you have chosen us as your home for health and fitness. We look forward to serving you in whatever capacity you need to help achieve the results you want.

Fourth, I invite you to look closely at the many offerings we have to help you achieve your goals including our re-vamped New You! program. This 12 week program is the ultimate package of good habit forming, training, nutrition and camaraderie. We have myriad of other options as well: bootcamps that cater to all different levels of fitness; learn to swim lessons; new group fitness classes; new personal trainers available to help motivate you and, our ever-popular Lose to Win program is back for another year.

As always my door is open, the light is on and I welcome your visit. Whether or not you make that resolution, we are excited to bring you the opportunity to make changes or continue on the path of good choices in your life. Here’s wishing you a great start to 2012 and thank you for being a part of the FFC family.

Now the decision for me must be made: I have decided to resolve that I will not make any resolutions that I cannot keep!
