Let Mario Make You a Model

THE COMPETITION:
Launched in 2008, Mario, Make Me a Model is a campaign to discover the Chicago area’s freshest faces and provide them with the tools and platform they need to embark on a modeling career. During the first four years of the program, more than 2,000 local men and women have competed for a shot to become a model.

Through a series of open model calls and a runway event, five finalists will be chosen by a panel of local celebrity judges to participate in a 12-week program that prepares them for a modeling career. Ultimately, one winner will be selected after walking the runway with professional models during a fashion show at Fashion Focus Chicago.

LAUNCHING CAREERS:
The winner will receive consideration for a modeling contract with Factor Women; all finalists will also be considered for a modeling contract. Since the program’s inception, more than half of the finalists have gone on to become working models.

PRIZES:
Each finalist will receive:
- Makeover from Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas
- Runway instruction by Factor Women
- Personal training with Fitness Formula Clubs
- Photo shoot with photographer Matt Ferguson for a two-page spread in Michigan Avenue magazine
- Appearance in TV commercials on CBS2
- A walk down the runway in a major fashion show at Fashion Focus Chicago

In addition to prizes listed above, the winner will receive:
- A five-night Apple Vacations trip for two to Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun, Mexico. The package includes meals and drinks at the resort, round-trip airfare, and round-trip limousine transportation to/from Chicago O’Hare Airport
- One year supply of vitaminwater
- One-year membership to Fitness Formula Clubs
- $500 in COSE cosmetics from Mario Tricoci

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Men and women age 16 and older
- Entrants are ineligible if currently signed with a modeling agency

5 p.m. – Mario Tricoci Hair Salon & Day Spa, 15451 South 94th Avenue, Orland Park

Semi-Finalist Runway Event
July 24, 9 a.m. at the Chicago Cultural Center

Fashion Show/Grand Finale
October 18 at Millennium Park
