In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the 190 Athletic Club will be operating on a revised schedule; Friday, May 24 from 5:30am-3:00pm and Monday, May 27 the Club will be CLOSED. Meet Joe Woulfe April 29, 2013
Joe recently joined the 190 Athletic Club Group Fitness team in April. He has been with FFC for two years and has been teaching spinning for over 15 years! Joe’s goal is to bring a high level of energy to the Spin room and to focus on motivating his participants to challenge themselves to get the most out of their workouts. Joe teaches *Spinning at 190 every Wednesday at 11:40am-12:25pm.

New Climbhill C5X April 29, 2013
Check out our newest piece of cardio equipment: the Matrix Climbhill C5X. The Climbhill is a workout that can be compared to walking up stairs although YOU choose the speed and program. The Climbhill provides feedback such as time elapsed, time remaining, total program time, total steps, floors climbed, calories, MET’s, watts, level and heart rate. There are a variety of workouts to choose from: Manual, Training workouts (rolling hills, interval training, calorie training, goal training), Fat Burn, Target HR, and Fitness Test – also IPod Compatible (charger only). For tips on how to use the Climbhill safely and effectively, please see one of our 190 Athletic Club Personal Trainers or a Staff Member.

New Spin Bikes! February 25, 2013
New Spin bikes will be arriving in March! The new Keiser bikes will be a great addition to our Group Fitness classes. Look for more information in the weeks ahead to learn more about them. Our new bikes will include a computer to track time, distance, calories, heart rate and power output. Adjustable Shimano combo pedals are also included. We recommend wearing bike shoes for a safer and smoother ride. If bike shoes are not an option for you, any fitness shoe will do. Want To IronRide! February 25, 2013
We currently offer two Spinning Classes (aka Iron Ride) in the mornings on Tuesdays/Thursdays 6:40am-7:20am. These classes incorporate interval rides with upper body muscle strength and endurance exercises.
FitSport on Fridays at 11:30am also offers an interval class which will incorporate rides on the bike. Please see our Group Fitness schedule for more information on these classes and others. The new winter Group Fitness schedule is now available. We kept the same great classes which motivate and inspire you such as FitSPORT, Power Platform, FitCORE, Chisel, Ashtanga Yoga and Iron Ride. And we also added a ZUMBA fitness class on Tuesdays at 11:30am. We hope you will give one or all of these classes a try. And best of all they are free to all Members!
